Choose the exact model ID, permissions, and protocol your client needs.
Use the exact model ID
Copy the full ID from the model entry for your site. Display names and brand names are not API identifiers. Do not shorten an ID or change its case.
Match the protocol
Chat Completions, Responses, and Anthropic Messages are different protocols. A configurable Base URL does not imply support for every protocol. Check connection settings and the client guides before choosing a model.
Confirm text, images, audio, vision input, tool calling, and reasoning parameters separately. A listed model does not guarantee access through every API key, account, or group.
Start with a small request
Complete a first request, then enable streaming, tools, or advanced options one at a time. For a client requiring Responses, follow its protocol-specific guide instead of copying a Chat Completions request.
